My grandmother;Joan Tye has lived in Riverhead (near enough to Sevenoaks)for a very long time. She is 76 and still a very active, healthy lady.
Charles Arthur Tye, her husbund, died in a road accident in 1984 while cycling.I think he was about 70 yrs of age and extremely healthy at the time of his demise.
My grandparents had two children, my father, Graham Tye and my aunt Val Tye (now Val Hislop).
Graham Tye married Val Watson and had 3 children me, laura and Amy who now live in Robertsbridge, East Sussex.
