JAMES TYE - ENGLAND - EARLY 19th CENTURY
I am looking for information about my great great grandfather, James Tye (Fisherman) born in the early 1800's in England - possibly Kent or South London.
He married Mary Dunnage: their son Alexander Henry Tye was my great grandfather.I do not know if James and Mary Tye had any other children, but Alexander Henry Tye had a large family: my grandmother Mary Ann Eleanor Tye being the second child in a family that numbered about 12 children.I believe some children of the eldest child, James William Tye, emigrated - possibly to Canada.
My grandfather, Alexander Henry, ws born in Bennet Street, Greenwich, in 1844.
Any information on this family would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Marion
