Hi I'm searching Tye's from Nova Scotia who married into Luddingtons. George W. TyeGEORGE WALLACE TYETRENTON- George Wallace Tye, 67, of 42 George Street, died today in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Stellarton, he was a son of the late Wallace and Florence (Luddington) Tye. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Trenton and was a veteran of the Second World War and the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Westville Heritage Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Joan Burrows; two sons, Ted of Linacy and Clifford of New Glasgow; a daughter, Mary (Mrs.Art Alexander), Pictou Landing; a sister, Joyce (Mrs. Kay Goldarth) of Ottawa; two brothers, Melvin and Walter of Ontario; six grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary and Jenny; one grandchild Meaghan Alexander. The remains are resting at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, High Street, Trenton, with visiting after 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday from St. Augustine Anglican Church, Trenton.
