Maureen,
your reference to "Mary Mo(o)re of Crow's Hall" intrigues me.
William Moore the elder (1760-1827) of Crow's Hall, Debenham, was my 5G-grandfather.I first encountered Mary Tye, "wife of William Tye of Dallingho, Farmer", in a document from October 1844 in which she testified to the date of birth - crucial to a very tangled tale of inheritance - of my 3G-grandfather, Walter Henry Moore (1821-67).But I didn't realise until now, seeing your posting, that she may well have been Walter Henry Moore's aunt.I'd very much like to compare notes with you.
Answering another of your 2002 postings, Crow's Hall certainly still exists and has been given a new lease of life by its new owner - see
