Hi, I just saw this on Genealogy forum. My mother-in-law was Jessie Dorothy Tyers. Sadly she died in October and it's only now that we've been able to start looking at her ancestors. Her father was Jesse Tyers, b: Aston Birmingham 1894. His father was Frank Tyers b 1863, Sheffield, West Riding Yorkshire. His father was William Tyers b abt 1839, Bolton Lancs. He was an engine fitter. He married Mary Anne Cox and they had 9 children!

This is as far back as we've got so far, as we haven't had time to do any more. We have a bit more info, if you want we can exchange info and see if it's the same family. My email is sue@swill.co.uk.
Cheers,
Sue
