Looking for Christine Tyrer
I’m looking for any more information on the following people, including Christine Tyrer:-
James Dennis Ashton who married Marjorie Harris, registered in the district of Islington in 4th quarter of 1939 (Vol. 1b page 454).
They were living at 2 Ivy Gardens, Crouch End, London, N8 9JE, when their daughter, Irene Joyce Ashton, was born on 20th November 1945 at 11 Alexandra Park Road, Hornsey, London, N10 2DB – it was possibly a hospital in those days but now appears to have been converted into flats. The birth was registered in the district of Edmonton on 29th November 1945 (Vol. 3a page 1153) and JD Ashton, the father, gave his occupation as “Private No. 14584449 South Wales Borderers (sheet metal worker)”
I believe they then had a son, John F Ashton, who’s birth was registered in Prescot, Merseyside in the 1st quarter of 1947 (Vol. 10f page 484).
Irene Joyce Ashton lived at One Tree Cottage, 53 Sandy Lane, St. Ives, Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 2LE during the mid 1960s – (St. Ives is actually in Dorset, but the postal address is Hampshire).
Irene Joyce Ashton married Jeffrey Frost in the second quarter of 1974 and it was registered in the district of Hatfield, London (Vol. 10 page 0373). They had a daughter, Amanda Jane Frost, born 2ndMay 1978 and registered at Southend on Sea, Essex (Vol.9 page 3665), and a son Ian Geoffrey Frost born 12th September 1980, also registered at Southend on Sea (Vol. 9 page 3920).
A person called John F Ashton married Christine A Tyrer in the 1st quarter of 1970 and was registered at Preston, Lancashire (Vol. 10f page 528).They had a son named Stuart John Ashton who’s birth was registered in the 4th quarter of 1973 in the district of Amounderness, Lanashire (Vol. 10b page 198).
Another person called John F Ashton married Christine Walmsley in the 2nd quarter of 1972 and was registered at Saddleworth, Oldham, Lancashire (Vol. 2c page 1728). They had a son named Paul James Ashton who’s birth was registered in the 2nd quarter of 1975 in the district of Oldham, Lancashire (Vol. 39 page 0084).
Any assistance with further information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Jon
