Fraser-Tytler, aged 71; 2nd son of James Tytler of Woodhouselee, and grandson of Lord Woodhouselee, Judge of Session, and Elizabeth Carmichael, dau of Maurice Carmichael; Professor James S. Fraser-Tytler m. 1850 to Mary Elizabeth Blair, the only child of Alexander Blair. They had issue a son and four daus.
1919--Major Neil Fraser- Tytler, of Aldourie, Inverness, only son of Lt. Col. E. G. Fraser- Tytler, engaged to Christian Helen, only dau of John Campbell Shairp of Houstoun, Linlithgowhire and Mrs Shairp of Wellington Sq., Ayr.
1931--Hugh, son of Capt. Henry Blundell-Hawkes, and grandson of Gen. Sir James Fraser-Tytler of Aldourie, engaged to Rosemary Dalglish, dau of Capt. Charles Dalglish of Villa Carline, Biarritz.
