Information--particularly on RootsWeb.com shows Ann Updegrove (Op Den Graf) as the wife of either Jacob Clemens/Clemer b.12 Apr 1749, d.17 Jan 1823, the son of Jacob Reiff Clemens & Barbara (Derstein) Clemmer/Clymer OR Jacob Allebach Clemens b. 18 Feb 1749/50, the sone of Johannes Reif Clemens (brother of Jacob Reiff Clemens) & Elizabeth Allebach. Are these Jacobs one and the same (one a birth date, the other a baptismal date)? Or if there were two Jacobs, what is the prevailing opinion as to which one was married to Ann Updegrove? Thanks!
