I also have Ubils in my family ancestery.Do you know of Daniel Ubil McCurdy or Daniel Ubil?
1. Daniel Ubil m. Esther Talbot.(This is all I have on this couple)
2. Daniel Ubil McCurdy b.Abt.1813 d.Abt. 1882, m.Lavina Stringfellow b.1820 d.1907 Chester Co., Pa. ; children, Harry and Eliza McCurdy.
Following info. is from the records of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Warwick, Pa. The children of James & Rachel (Talbot) McCurdy (Joseph, Davis, and Benjamin) were baptised 5/16/1811, and Daniel Ubil McCurdy bpt. 10/27/1813.
Also an obituary for Daniels wife;
Obit. from 1907 Chester Co., Pa.
Mrs. Lavina McCurdy, aged 87 years, died at the home of her nephews, Messrs. William J. and Frank L.T. Smith, West Coatsville, this morniing at seven o'clock. She was the widow of Daniel McCurdy, who carried on the tailoring business in Honeybrook township. She leaves one son, Harry McCurdy, East Chestnut street; also two sisters, Emeline Smith, West Coatsville; Eliza Lair, of Downingtown, and one brother, G.B. Stringfellow, also of Downingtown.
Mrs. McCurdy has been makeing her home with her nephews
for twenty-five years. Mrs. McCurdy was a member of the Brandywine Manor Presbyterian Church.
