Are you aware that there is a Woodall DNA Project going on right now? I am one of the participants. I, along with some other Woodall researchers (Verna Perier, Steve Woodall, Andy Marshall) are trying to invite as many male Woodall's and obvious variants of the name including Udall to participate in the testing. We would like to have people with variants of the name from all around the world take part in this study and hopefully help more people with their research. So far we have participants with ancestry from ENGLAND, SCOTLAND & various parts of the USA taking part in this study! Would you like to take part in this testing? This test will If you consider the number of hours spent at the library, the cost of obtaining documents, subscribing to databases, or even the cost of gasoline when traveling around the country talking to folks to gather data, this cost is very small. Surname DNA tests support or supplement traditional genealogy. This will eliminate or confirm the relationship of individuals or family lines. It will help you to focus your research towards related families. It can direct research into a particular geographical area and certain timeframe and it can also help you to establish country or region of origin. This can confirm variant surnames as part of the same family. The DNA testing results can provide insight into your families pre-surname migration. Through the test it can strengthen weak paper trails and help you to exchange information with people who have common DNA markers. It is a big help in using your time wisely s you don't pursue false/innacurate connections.
