Hi, im just starting to research my family history and i know that my Mothers Mothers family name is UDY. Mum has a book on the UDY family stored away, but shes living in Scotland and its not available to me - i was wondering about the UDY link from CORNWALL TO NEW ZEALAND...
My Great Grandmother is a VERA EVELYN UDY and her father is a THOMAS CLEMENCE UDY, who married a EMMA ALFREDA WATERSON. Her daughter, my grandmother is a VERA ANNIE UDY.
Can anyone tell me some interesting stories about the UDY family or how they came to NZ? I would love to have some to pass on to my children one day....please email or post back!
