Charles Bryce Udy was the son of Charles Udy b 25 July 1863 in Lower Hutt and Jemima Annie Gallon b 13 Oct 1870. Charles was the son of Hart Udy b 31 Jan 1835 in Lanlivery Cornwall and Elizabeth Hollard b 1836 in the UK. Hart was the son of Hart Udy and Jane Clemence who arrived on the Duke of Roxborough in 1839. Hart Senior founded the NZ dynasty and his brothers started the Canadian and US dynasty. You can find out more at the Petone Settlers Museum or in Cyclopedia of NZ at the National Archives.
