I have a g-great-grandfather Jacob Uebel. He was born in Germany. It was thought he particapated in the German Revolution in 1848 and he and his family were forced to move to the U.S. He married Anna Marie Messerschmidth, who was born in 1808 in Laudau, Germany. They lived near Liberty, MO.. He died between 1862-1864. His wife then moved with what was left of her family to St. Louis,MO. They had 12 children but,according to newspaper clipping,only two were living in 1903. So far haven't anything else on Jacob Uebel or his family. Sincerely Loma
