Hi, last year I was reserching my father's side of the family. His name was Edward Utechtt. In certain places I came up with a lot of different spellings on our last name. I only got as far as my great great grandfather and was pretty pleased I got that far. His name was Michael Utechtt spelled in a few different ways such as Utech, Udig and Uthrig. He was married to a Maria Quade and the came to America on the ship Magdalene from Bremen Germany. If you have any info on this line, please get in touch with me.
