My data were stored using the software ultimate family tree deluxe3.1 as amended. I have the diskWindows xp was the operating system and all worked well even though the disk says windows 95.
My computer operating system became corrupted. My repair service indicated that the data I had stored was still available if I had the software disk. I had the disk and tried to run it. However it could not be installed.
Anmy suggestions as to how to install it? I know there is a patch available which might be helpful but I can't see how to use it since the machine won't recognize the original disk
