The platinum version is quite old, and of course Ultimate Family Tree has been discontinued a good number of years ago. There was an update to work with XP (look for UFT_XP in the forum search for further info), but I doubt that the platinum version is even 3.0 (more like 2.8), so it will not be able to be updated even to 3.0. My suggestion would be another genealogy software. If you haven't looked at TMG, you might try their free trial at www.whollygenes.com
as it takes in all of the UFT data (sqz especially) without any need for gedcom. I wish you well.
