Mahoney & Chitson Family 1940's London

I would love more information on these families. All I know is that in the 1940's & 1950's my mother (nee. Mahoney, Marianne) lived in Wanstead, London, with several other family members in the surronding area. Chitson was my Grandmother's (Hilda) maiden name so anything there would be really helpful. Brother in law was William Chitson. As far as I know both families were located in and around London and Kent. All contacts that I had are now lost so any help greatly appreciated!
