Mr. Ortega,
I did read that in my Herencia Vol 4 Issue, about the Juan de Ulibarri (a Mulato) who's Mother was Maria de Ulibarri a Slave of Dona Maria de Ulibarri. Who is this Maria Ulibarri? In Juan's marriage certificate it states he is an Apache Indian. So I'm not sure if this would be him. I do know that Antonio Ulibarri baptised 5 Apache indian's in Isleta. Two being female and gave them the name of Ulibarri on 17 Nov. 1738. The females were given the name of Maria & Josefa Ulibarri. The three male were Juan Antonio, Christoval, Juan Ulibarri. But My Juan was married to Rosalia in 1732 Alb. Seem like a late date to be baptised unsually they would Baptise first and then Marry or atles on the same day. I still need to persue this matter. Would like to find some place that would give me prove of the adoption of Juan de Ulibarri by Capt. Juan de Ulibarri here De Los Reyes in New Spain. (Mexico). Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Anna
