Juan de Ulibarri B -1670 (New Mex. Area) by Kay Abeyta of 226 Ramon lived in Las Vegas New Mexico in the 1890s and was my GGgrandfather's (Regino Ulibarri) cousin. Ramon, his wife and one son name Meliton are mentioned in my novel, "Devil's Hatband=Cintillo del Diablo" about the Las Vegas, NM peoples fight to protect their land grants. You can find info on him in the local records (microfiche) at Highlands and Santa Fe. Ramon was Justice of the Peace in 1888 before a family disruption over politics-see the book.
