Hi I am doing a family history on my family and found your post. Our last name is spelled Ulishney, but when my relatives came over from Czechoslovakia they had a different spelling, we believe it was Ulicny. My great great grandfathers name was Joseph, but there was a John that was born in 1880 in Czechoslovakia. Most of the Ulishneys are in Westmorland County PA. If you can help me with the spelling of our last name when they came over I would appreciate it. We may even be related somehow.
