Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The majority of my database comes from central Kentucky near Jackson county, and Southwest Ohio near Butler County. The major Surnames are: Reece, Conrad, Foley, Streit, Hoskins, Evers, Haberman, Neihaus, Coyle, Ulm, VanWinkle, Moore, and Abrams. There are many more surnames in my database.

A recent match that I made with the World Family Tree gave me about 3800 of the almost 5000 names that I now have. Very little of this has been confirmed by other sources. I spent two weeks sifting through the data and eliminated as many duplicates as I could find. Many of the people in the new information with the same surnames and are from the same area, but are not linked together in the database. One of my goals is to link these people together as they are most likley closely related.

I do not check the forums very regularly, so if there are any discrepancies, adds, or changes you would like made please email me directly. If you have any questions about any part of the site I would be happy to help in any way that I can.

Thanks,
Jeff Reece
