We are seeking emigrants (immigrants) from Sterkelshausen, Hessen (= Hesse ), district Rotenburg in the former Landgrafschaft Hessen - Cassel / Kurhessen (= Hesse Cassel ).
In July 2003 the village Sterkelshausen will celebrate its 1000 year anniversary and we like to meet some of our lost citizens.
Today the proper name of the village is Sterkelshausen, Gemeinde Alheim (= administrative community), Landkreis Hersfeld - Rotenburg (= administrative district)in Hessen.
