Hi. My Ulrich ancestors came to this country abt. 1852 and lived right in NYC... Manhattan to be exact. I don't know if they went to NYC immediately upon entering the USA. They may have lived in Western PA for a while... not sure about that. Anyway... I have a couple of Margarets... one born abt. 1860, the other in 1892. As far as I know, neither was married to an Appleton, unless one of them married twice. The Margaret born in 1892 did have at least 4 sisters... and 2 brothers.
