Judy, I can help on one line of the Ultz's. Christopher Ultz m Lydia Knisely. I am in contact with a descendent of them in Calif. Lydia is a sister to my GGGgrandmother Mary Ann Knisely Zuck. Christopher went to Calif in 1850 for the Goldrush. He left Lydia in Ohio living with her sister Mary Ann's family for a couple years before he sent for them. We have several letters that he wrote to her from Calif. Lydia and the children finaly went out with him. They had one more child in Calif in 1860. Lydia died in Shasta Co. Calif. on Jan.4,1864. Christopher remarried a Mrs. McCumber on Feb.7,1869 in Shasta Co. Calif. They had one child. They moved to Boise, Idaho where Christopher died in July 1886.
