Hi Rosie
I'm afraid I have not gone back that far yet. However I have the email address of another Uncle researcher and if you contact me at murrayc134@optusnet.com.au I will give you her email address.
I go back to an Elizabeth, baptised 1790 in Furneux Pelham, daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth. Benjamin Uncle married Elizabeth Bye on 3 Jan 1779 in Furneux Pelham.
Here is the marriage record:
Married: 3 Jan 1779/80 in Furneux Pelham, Hertfordshire, England, UK
Marriage Bann: 2 Jan 1779/80 in Furnaux Pelham, Hertfordshire, England, UK
Marriage Ban n: 9 Jan 1779/80 in Furnaux Pelham, Hertfordshire, England, UK
Marriage Bann: 16 Jan 1779/80 in Furnaux Pelham, Hertfordshire, England, UK
Note:
Both Ben jamin and Elizabeth made their marks on the marriage record.
Both were from t he parish of Furneux Pelham, Hertfordshire County, England.
Banns were publish ed by R. H. Bray, curate .
The marriage was solemnized in the presence of Thom as Horton, and John
Walker.
MARL
DATE 03 Jan 1779
PLAC Furneux Pelham, Hertfordshire, England, UK
So my Benjamin would have been born about 1756 or so.
Maybe Elizabeth, baptised 1757 had a brother Benjamin??
