Looking for any Unger's who belonged to an area in and around Neuchatel Switzerland - Prussia in the year 1781 ruled by King Frederick of Prussia - I presume the germany was under his rule. This Unger was recruited around Neuchatel by Comte Charles de Meuron and joined the Regiment de Meuron in 1781 that was sent to Cape Town (S Africa) and then to Colombo- Ceylon and finally married in Colombo a woman by name of Wilhelmina Durtick (probably of German or Dutch descent) and then proceeded to India and started his life and family there.
