Linda, I hope your post is still valid, as it's six years old. But here goes. My name is Loran Unger and I am the 4th great-grandson of Peter Unger born 1753. I am a descendant of his son, Heinrich. Our Peter was a prominent mill builder in the Chortitza Colony. He appears fairly often in "The Guardianship Committee" Odessa Archives (Fuersorgs Kommittee). There still are some mills from that era still standing in what is now south Ukraine. It would be interesting to know if any of them were built by our Peter Unger. My lineage: Peter Unger(1753-1818), Heinrich Unger (1786-1855), Peter Heinrich Unger(1812-1888, died in Manitoba, Canada), Johann(John)Unger(1842-1919, died in Minnesota),Johann(John J.)Unger(1868-1936, died in Portland, OR),John H.Unger(1897-1970, my father died in Winnipeg, Manitoba), Myself, born 1936.
