My grandmother, Eva Unruh came from Gnadenfeld. Along with her husband, Henry Huebert, they left at the time of the revolution and came to Canada, eventually settling in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. She had a sister who turned up in Paraguay and another sister who settled in Winnipeg. All her brothers were conscripted into the Czar's army and never heard from again.
