Have you found anything on search. I have a John Winters Upp in my files who was born in York, PA and married Catherine Yeiser Upp. They are both buried in Erie Co., Sandusky, OH. Henry Yeiser Upp had a son John Winters Upp born about 1863. I have also seen Henry Yeiser Upp's name recorded as Henry B. Upp. I don't know what the significance of that is, but I have some newspaper clippings listing both. Maybe I have missed something. I would assume this is the same family since the surname of Upp is not at all common let alone the name John Winters. If this is the same family, I have trace the Upp line back to 1685. I have several photos of the tombstones along the way. Let me know if I can be of help.
