In researching my earliest Upson ancestor, I find many errors as they apply to (1) "Elizabeth Fuller-Upson-Scott"
and (2)"Elizabeth Fuller-Rowley".I am 99% sure these are two different women:
(1)Elizabeth_______? Fuller may not have been her maiden name as there are scattered references to her son John Fuller, which would infer he was either illegitimate OR more like the son of her first husband,a Fuller of Connecticut. (Fuller wa a common name throughout the Colonies at that time). Her 2nd husband would have been Thomas Upson with whom she had 5 children; and after his death, she married Edmund Scott with whom she also had numerous children.
(2)Elizabeth Fuller, wife of her only husband, Moses Rowley, and the daughter of Capt. Matthew and Frances Fuller of Barnstable, Massachusetts (Mayflower descendents). To affirm this, on-line to "Will of Matthew Fuller" wherein he named Elizabeth Rowley, wife of Moses, Rowley, as his beneficiary.
It would have been nice to be a Mayflower "petal", but we (including myself) cannot all be "Queens and Kings...and all of those things..."
