I am looking for information on John Urban b. 11-4-1834. I don't know if he was born in Bavaria, but I have been told that he was from Bavaria, Germany. His wife was Katherine Hausam. Does anyone know where she was born and if she was from Germany as well? Some of their children were born in PA. Why did John come from Bavaria, settle for some time in PA and then end up in Stewartsville, MO? I would really like to find out more about them as they are my gggrandparents. Their son, Christian Urban was my great grandfather. I have seen his siblings listed as Charlotte, Katherine, Mary, Charles Lewis, Elizabeth, Mellie and Carrie. John and Katherine are buried in the Old part of the Stewartsville Cemetary in Stewartsville, MO. Their sons, Christian and Charles are also buried in the same plot with their parents and their wives. I don't know of any others from the family buried there, but it is quite possible. Any information on this family would be very appreciated. I would be happy to share some stories.
