Henry's sister and her husband came from Black Town in early 1800's and homesteaded in the Sandy Lake area.Her husband fell off the roof and died while building the house.Henry Urey then took over the homestead.Henry's first wife, Sarah Leyda, was the mother of all decendents.Henry later married Mary.One of Henry's daughters was Exie Urey Mercer.She was borne in Millcreek township January 18, 1860.She and her husband, Henry H. Mercer, (married April 2, 1895) spent their entire married life in Sheridan PA.Henry also had a son, A.P. Urey who died prior to 1895.
