The info I have on my Urwin family is as follows:
John Urwin, b. 20 March 1811 in All Saints, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England; d. 15 October 1863; Plattsmouth, Cass County, Nebraska. He was listed in the 1860 census as living in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and his occupation as tailor. His parents were Thomas Urwin and Elizabeth Austin. His wife was Anna Johnson, b. 17 March 1809 in Durham County, England; d. 15 Feb. 1891, Cedar Creek, Cass County, Nebraska. They married 13 Feb. 1831 in Wallsend, Northumberland, England. Their children were:

Elizabeth, b. 15 July 1833 in Northumberland; married William Spence 22 Dec. 1856 in St. Clair, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; d. 11 April 1920 in Louisville, Cass County, Nebraska

Jennie, b. 1837
John W., b. 1846
Isabella, b. 1850 County Durham

I believe they immigrated to the U. S. around 1854 and lived for a time in Pennsylvania before moving to Cass County, Nebraska. John's brother William lived for a time in northern Illinois, working as a miner, before moving to Cass County, Nebraska, where he was a farmer.
