Hi Jorge, my name is Elizabeth Rodriguez Urzua and I'm from California. I was reading your message and it wouldn't be strange if are related. My mom is Laura Urzua, and she's from Guadalajara, Jalisco. My grandfather is David Urzua, and I'm not really sure if he was born in Guadalajara, but his father was from Zacoalco de Torres Jalisco, his name was Pedro Urzua. From what my mom tells me, my great grandfather was a very tall man with blue eyes. I'm light skinned and I also have colored eyes, and people are always asking me if I'm really Mexican, because I guess I don't "look" like one. I'm very curious of our last name's origin, but the only thing that I know is the information that you have, and that my family predominantly resides in Jalisco. There's a group in facebook called : Solo Urzua, and they even have the Urzua's-family crest. I'm going to try to get more info from my grandpa, and hopefully I get something new.
