Hoping someone can confirm my gg grandfather's involvement in the U.S.-Mexican War (because I think it's the only war he could have served in) - Following are the cemetary records that indicate he was a U.S. veteran:

Boze, John Konrad (US Veteran)
b. Jan 06, 1823
d. Nov 10, 1860
a. 36 y, 10 m, 22 d
Rowland Cemetary, Canton, Stark County, OH.

Note: I have found records for John K. Boze under Boce, Bose, Boz, Booz, and even Booze!
