Hello Marie,
I will agree with you that the Sons of Dewitt Colony is a very good website for information concerning the Texas Revolution. It is NOT a website for the U.S.- Mexican War or as you called it Mexican-American War.
The Texas Revolution ended with the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836.
You are not alone. There are many postings made on this site that pertain to the Texas Revolution. Perhaps, a new forum should be created just for the Texas Revolution.
