A Mexican War Diary Online

I have posted the diary kept by an ancestor during his service in the Mexican War 1846-1847. It's on Illinois Trails website; click onto Montgomery County and scroll down to "The Mexican War Diary of Wiley B Smith". I don't think Wiley had much education (he tends to ignore punctuation almost entirely) but he has an excellent eye for observing and recording detail and presents vivid images.
