Hi,

I just posted an old ad run by a James GRIFFIN announcing that he had some tents that were needed by the army in the war with Mexico, but that he was owed money for their storage, repair and upkeep.
This was scanned from an original issue (NOT microfilm!) of the The Mobile Register and Journal newspaper (Mobile, Alabama) dated May 25, 1846, and you can see it online here:
