Did you ever get any information on this subject? Thomas Willoughby is also my ancestor. I'm also trying to find out if there is any connection to the Calhoun family as his son was named Richard Calhoun Waters. The name Calhoun has come down as a name in my family, but we don't know why. Any ideas? Thanks.
