I would try "The U S Army History Center" (I think that is the correct name, it is in Maryland I think, (dum tonight) and I can not find the bookmark in all this mess I have).

There is also a site for U S Naval history, put them in a search engine. You may get real lucky. I hope this helps somewhat, James
