Supposedly my 4th great grandfather Calvin High Shaw b Aug 18 1818 died in Saltillo Mexico on Dec 3 1847.
He married Martha Ruffin Patsy Halliburton b Mar 27 1825 Wake County NC d Oct 3 1897 Wake County NC. They married on Oct 21 1841 Wake County NC.
Calvin and Martha had three children
William Henry Shaw (1844-1898) m Sallie Philpot Chandler ----my line
Virginia Agnes Shaw (1845-1923) m William Norwood Hicks
John Quincy Shaw (1847-1921) m Alvarado V Ferguson (no info on eife)
