Jorgen Peter Jensen

I thought I had found our Peter Jensen in the 1900 Idaho census, but I went back and looked at it again. Above Peter Jensen is Henry b. 1832 and James b. 1874. I would assume these are that Peter's father and brother with their families. Our Peter Jensen was a first-born, only son, unless children were born following the 1880 census.

Jørgen Peder Jensen was born 26 July 1870 in Aahrus, Aahrus to Jens Peder Jensen b. 25 April 1845 in Viborg, Fjends, Resen. His paternal grandparents were Jens Andersen and Kirsten Jensdatter.

Jørgen Peder Jensen's mother was Kirstine Marie Nielsen Jensen b. 05 June 1845 in Thorning to Niels Pedersen Winkel and Hedevig Marie Christensdatter.

In the US Jørgen Peder Jensen became Peter. I cannot seem to find any of that Jensen family after the 1880 census, using wild cards for his sisters' married names. In the 1880 census the fmaily is listed under Jenson, IP [sic Jensen, J P)

Thank you for your interest.

Sylvia
