Our Jens Peder Jensen is listed in the 1800 Utah census as I P Jenson. - He went by J. P Jensen in the U.S. I recognized them by their 1877 Aahrus Conference ship registration, ages and name changes. J. P b. 25 April 1845 Denmark Kirstine Marie Nielsen (Catherina Jensen) b. 05 June 1845 Denmark Jørgen Peder (Peter) b. 26 July 1870 Denmark Kirstine Hedvig (Christine) b. 18 Oct. 1872 Denmark Wilhelmine (Whillemina) b. 22 August 1874 Denmark Marie (Christeana ?) b in Denmark c 1876 Nicolenea born in Utah c. 1879. I cannot find the family in any other censuses, even using wild cards. I don't know what happened to them. But the family says J P's brother Troels Christian Jensen died in Utah probably in 1888.
