Oh you meant Jens Andersen, J.P.'s father. No he was a farmer in Viborg, Fjends, Resen where J P and TC were born, along with other sisters and brothers.
I use HeritageQuest. I have not been able to find J P Jensen on Ancestry, Family Search, or the LDS records, even though, they came over in 1877 with the Aahrus Conference, which is online.
I have done a bit of looking at the 1930 census, but no luck as yet. Now I must call it a day.
