I am looking for any information on my great-grandfather, Carl Peter Carlson. It is my understanding that my Carl Peter Carlson was born in Sweeden (possibly in 1822) and somehow arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah with the mormons sometime during the mid-1800's. Census records indicate that he lived with Julia Eckmann (possibly from Norway or Germany) in Salt Lake City and that they had several children during the late 1800's. One of them, Gwendolyn Carlson, whom was my grandmother. The remaining children were Oswald Carlson, Carl Edwin Carlson, Bernice C. Carlson, Oscar Carlson and William O. Carlson. My grandmother married Fred Treat Gleason, my Grandfather. My father was also named Fred Treat Gleason. Any information on any of the above-named Carlsons would be greatly appreciated.
