Mr. Thomas Kerwin -- thanks a million for your reply! The information you provided is very helpful. The following is my reply to your question about "Fred": My father, Fred Treat Gleason, was born in Beaver, Utah on April 15, 1920, and my grandfather, Fred Treat Gleason, was apparently born somewhere in Michigan during the 1870's and was killed in a car accident in Nevada on March 6, 1934. I would like to find out more about my grandfather's Michigan roots. All I currently know is that the middle name "Treat" was also a family surname from Michigan or New York. I did find a William H. Gleason and an Emma Treat from Michigan but I don't know if I can yet establish and claim a true connection to William H. Gleason and Emma Treat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
