Emmigrant Massacre-Provo, UT-March 1854

Need info on Emmigrant train massacre near Provo, Utah, in March 1854, by Ute Indians. Can find no references in any official records, yet my ancestors, Daniel Stowell & wife Louisa Barnum, along with two very young daughters, were slain and my ggg-father, William A Stowell, was captured by the Ute's and traded as a slave to the Piutes.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks--R Cassity
