Seeking parents of Martha Leona Riddles b. 1870, Caldwell Co.,Texas who married James H. Roach 15 March 1888 in Caldwell County.
There is a Martha Riddel living in the house hold of Richard Walker Riddles and his wife Beatrice C. Falwell/Fallwell Riddles and listed as the head of household's cousin on the 1880 Bastrop Co.,Texas census.
Martha's mother is purportedly a Nancy Riddles but unknown father.
Sometime in the early 1900's Martha & James Roach moved to Utah with their children born in Texas. They named a son Harvey Edward who was born in Utah and died young.
There is Harvey & his son,Thomas Edward in my Riddles line and Harvey's brothers Joab, Abner, Thomas, Eli Asberry and James A.Riddles who moved to Texas.
Harvey, Joab & James A.Riddles and their sons & daughters moved to the Bastrop/Caldwell Co.,Tx area while Abner stayed in Montague Co. and Eli A. in Cooke Co, and Thomas in Dallas Co.,Tx.
Does anyone have a clue about who Martha Leona Riddles belongs to? Sure could use some ideas. Thanks!
