there has never been a brownsville in tooele
county to my knowledge and i know tooele county quite well. Grantsville is on the old
US highway 40 and Intersate 80 runs just north of the town. If your grandfather died in an auto accident going east or west it was
probably close to this town. the Tooele hospital would be about 15 miles south east of grantsville. Tooele was the largest city in Tooele county and the only place large enough to support a hospital at that time. There is a newspaper in Tooele and quit probably carry a report of any accident that happened on the highway. hope this is of help to you.
