James Uttley (1792-1856) Heptonstall, Yorkshire

I am looking to verify the paternity of James Uttley, born in Heptonstall, West Yorkshire, England, about 1792 and died at Wadsworth, West Yorkshire, England, on May 28, 1856. He married sisters, Betty and Mary Smith. He married Betty Smith in Halfiax in 1823. She died in 1830. He married Mary Smith in Halifax in 1831, Mary died in 1850. As an adult, James Uttley was listed as a weaver, soldier and Chelsea Pensioner. In the 1841 and 1851 census he was living at Nutclough, Wadsworth, West Yorkshire, England.

The closest fit for this James Uttley in the baptism records in the Heptonstall Parish Register was Jimmy Uttley, son of William Uttley, tradesman, and Ann, his wife, who was baptized on February 12, 1792.

The two known children of James Uttley and Betty Smith were William Uttley, born in 1823, and Sarah Ann Uttley (my ancestory), born in 1827, both born in Heptonstall. Naming his first son William Uttley is consistent with his father's first name being William. William Uttley, son of James Uttley is believed to have been the person who married Alice Redman at Halifax on September 4, 1857, and who had a son named Edwin James Uttley, born 1858.

I am hoping to find others who are researching this Uttley line.
